CTO of Arctech Solar, researcher, convener of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) TC82 WG7, the first winner of the Chinese photovoltaic field of the IEC1906 Award, winnerof the 29th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC-29) Young Scientist Award, member of China Photovoltaic Society, tutor for postgraduates of Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai), part-time researcher.
Since December 2014, he has been the chief technical officer of Arctech Solar, and is fully responsible for research and development of Arctech Solar. The research and development of the horizontal single axis tracker system is the first in the world to introduce the concept of backup design and artificial intelligence, relying on innovative technologies in control, transmission and structure, it has more than 10 invention patents, while greatly reducing costs, it has greatly improved the reliability of the tracking system, bring a higher return on investment for solar power plant. At the same time, the multi-mode control technology makes smart solar power plants a reality.
As a member of international standards organizations such as the International Electrotechnical Organization (IEC), on behalf of the national authority, he has presided over and participated in the drafting of several international and Chinese solar tracker related standards, including IEC62187, IEC63104 and other standards. In 2018, he became the convener of the seventh working group in the photovoltaic field, holds a number of solar invention patents, has published a number of papers in photovoltaic professional journals and presided over the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium-sized Innovation Enterprises, Shanghai Science and Technology Project
Represented China in the PVQAT working group and served as the leader of Tasks 9 and 12, focusing on the long-term stability of solar photovoltaic technology. Participated in the compilation of "Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation Application Technology" and "Solar Photovoltaic Technology and Application" and published papers in international conferences and solar professional journals.

- Joshua Stein

Dr. Joshua Stein is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories where he has led R&D projects for the past 17 years. His current research interests include novel PV module and system designs and materials, characterization methods, PV performance models and reliability. He represents the US as a member of the International Energy Agency (IEA) PVPS Task 13 on PV Performance and Reliability. In 2010, he founded of the PV Performance Modeling Collaborative (PVPMC) and has organized nine international workshops on modeling and PV technologies. Previously, he contributed to advances in nuclear waste disposal, underground storage of petroleum products and fundamental studies on the hydrology of the oceanic crust. He has authored more than 150 publications. Dr. Stein received his Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Boris Farnung joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in 2008. He is head of group PV Power Plants and over the years has gained extensive experience in quality assurance on both the module and the system level from projects worldwide.
He is operating agent of the IEA PVPS Task 13 - Performance and Reliability of Photovoltaic Systems.

Monsoon Wang is the Product Director of LONGi Solar,in charge of product Planning, product marketing and technical Support work. Monsoon Wang joined LONGi solar since January 2017, he has more than 8 years working experience in PV industry and 5 years experience in semiconductor industry. Monsoon Wang is a specialist of high efficiency PV cell manufacturing, module failure analysis and PV system optimization, he also has attended the modification work of several important industry standard .

Pramod Krishnani is a recognized renewable industry subject matter expert specializing in power plant optimization and reporting; plant acceptance testing; performance guarantee contract management; performance field fault detection analytics; lean project management; and renewable industry international standards development. Prior to joining DNV GL, he was responsible for optimizing the financial and technical asset performance of sPower’s rapidly growing renewable energy portfolio. He has extensive experience in performance reporting and technical optimization of combined Solar and Wind fleet exceeding more than3.7 GW. Preceding to joining sPower, Pramod gained experience working as a Technical Services Manager – O&M for SunEdison’s Yielco Terraform Power and Performance and Operations Engineer for the O&M and EPC company, Belectric. He worked for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District holding various positions from Engineering Student Renewable Energy R&D Intern to Mechanical Engineering RE Tech in the Energy R&D Department; where he gained wide range of experience in numerous renewable energy technologies like Solar, Wind, Energy storage, Hydro Energy, Geothermal Energy, Biomass/Biogas and smart grid technologies along with demand response.
Apart from work experience, Pramod is an appointed expert of the International ElectroTechnical Commission (IEC), ASTM, NREL, DOE and SANDIA Solar PV Standards Committee. He has been a featured speaker and a technical writer for PV O&M conferences like IEEE PVSC, PVInsider, NREL and Sandia National Laboratory
Pramod earned his Master’s degree with a focus on Mechanical Engineering and specialization in Thermal & Fluid Systems at California State University, Sacramento. He earned his Bachelor and Associate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University, India

Marcel Suri is an expert in solar power assessment and forecasting. He has received PhD in geography and is co-author of more than 100 scientific publications. Marcel Suri is one of authors of the decision support online system PVGIS, which contributed to development of photovoltaics in Europe. He managed a several R&D projects and is active in the definition and market implementation of approaches that are introducing better transparency and increased efficiency in solar industry. He is active in gridintegration studies related to solar photovoltaics.
Marcel Suri consults developers and operators of solar power plants, investors, banks, and governmental institutions. He is Managing Director of Solargis company, which provides solar and meteorological data and photovoltaic simulation software for planning, monitoring and forecasting of solar power.

Zhu Haidong is the current Executive Vice-President of Shanghai ANX Automation Technology and General Manager of Wuxi ANX Automation Technology, enjoying the medium professional title. He once worked as Battery R&D Department Manager and Branch General Manager in Wuxi Suntech Power and Millennium Software successively. Mr. Zhu is committed to developing and applying new battery technologies (Pluto, PREC, PERL, etc.), and studying and promoting power plant intelligentization and automation. Chen Siming, currently the Director Engineer of Guangdong HuaJu Testing Tech. Co., Ltd. She has engaged in testing and technical assessment of PV power plants for years.
She served as the key personnel for national 863 plan project, provincial R&D projects and provincial engineering center construction project. She participated in the standard work groups for over 20 national and industrial standards. She had more than 20 technical papers published in academic periodicals both in and abroad, one of which in include in SCI.

Zhang Guangqing is currently the head of the Energy Storage Technology Department and Energy Storage Customer Line of CGC. Since 2008, she has been engaged in research on standards and testing and certification technologies related to photovoltaics and energy storage. She has led and participated in the formulation of multiple standards and technical specifications, and has performed a number of domestic and international testing and certification projects for energy storage products and systems, battery supervision and power plant testing projects. As the core of the project, participated in the national key research and development plan topics in "smart grid technology and equipment" and "NQI" key special areas.
